Joseph Glenn Herbert (born June 2, 1971), known professionally as Jo Koy, is a Filipino-American stand-up comic.

When he was 10 years old, he sent his resume to The Carol Burnett Show hoping that he could work on set.

When he was a struggling actor, he wrote himself a $10 million check and gave himself three years to earn that while acting.

The check was post-dated for Thanksgiving 1995, and he kept it in his wallet. Just before the holiday, he found out that he would be making $10 million for Dumb & Dumber.

After doing stand-up routines in comedy clubs and acting in small parts on TV and in movies, he got his big break in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.

He was the first actor to receive a $20 million dollar salary, and it was for The Cable Guy.

He is now a dad and a very proud grandfather!
